John Primer
John Primer has paid his dues in the role of trusty sideman, and now he's poised on the brink of stardom, more than ready to break out in his own right. For 13 years, as the rock-solid, consistently immaculate rhythm guitarist for Magic Slim and the Teardrops, Primer has fired up audiences around the world with his sizzling blues attack. Before joining with Slim, Primer patiently absorbed the finer points of his craft from two venerated founding fathers, Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon, touring with both these legends and picking up invaluable pointers along the way.

John Primer is one of the last remaining traditionalists of today's Chicago blues scene. For him, there is no other way to express himself. As his most recent release COLD BLOODED BLUES MAN suggests, he is the real deal for sure.
