John Weston
At any age when many musicians might already be considering retirement, John Weston of Smale, Arkansas, decided it was time he got started. In 1989, at the age of 62, he won the Blues Foundation's national amateur talent contest. He recorded his first album, SO DOGGONE BLUE, in 1992. A gifted songwriter and an engaging performer, Weston is a man who provides more enthusiastic proof that it's never too late for the blues.
