Robert Lockwood
A living legend of the blues, Lockwood is a direct heir to the legacy of his famed stepfather, Delta bluesman Robert Johnson. With the help of Johnson, this Delta-style blues giant strung his first guitar with materials from a record player. Accompanying Sonny Boy Williamson during the weekly live radio broadcasts of King Biscuit Time on KFFA in Helena Lockwood went on to record and perform with such musicians as Muddy Waters, Little Walter, the Moonglows, Willie Mabon and Otis Spann.
